Thank for your interest in Good News Club.  If you do not find answers to your questions here, then please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page.

What is Good News Club?
Good News Club® is a weekly after-school Bible program for elementary-school children. Clubs meet each week for one-two hours for a period of six weeks to seven months.  They provide children with the opportunity to gather with friends for singing, games, Bible memorization, life-changing Bible lessons, and more!
Who can attend Good News Club?
Good News Club is open to all boys and girls grades K-6, regardless of religious background. Parents are always welcome to attend the club with their child.

Please note: Children must have their parent’s permission before they can attend the Club.

Does the Club cost anything?
Participation in the Club is completely FREE.  Generous donations from individuals allow the club to be offered free of charge.
Who leads the club?
Clubs are led by local Christian adults who are concerned for the spiritual well-being of your children. These leaders have received intensive, specialized training from Child Evangelism Fellowship®.
How might my child benefit from the Club?
At the Club your child will learn:

  • Respect for Authority
  • Moral Values
  • Character Qualities
  • Biblical Principles
Will my child be safe?
CEF has taken specific steps to ensure the safety of your child. All club workers have been carefully screened as required by CEF’s child protection policy and have cleared criminal background checks. Reference checks are completed as well.
Who sponsors the Club?
Good News Club is sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship.  CEF is an international Christian organization dedicated to helping children apply God’s Word—the Bible—to their lives in practical ways. CEF has sponsored programs in Jamestown and surrounding communities for more than 60 years. Some of these programs include:

    • Good News Club
    • 5-Day Club (also known as Go Club or Backyard Bible Club)
    • Christmas Party Club (also known as Birthday Party for Jesus)
    • Camp Good News

Most Good News Clubs are also co-sponsored by local churches or individuals who share CEF’s passion for the spiritual well-being of your community’s children. While your Good News Club may be co-sponsored by a particular church, the Club leaders are committed to keeping a non-denominational spirit.  In other words, they will only teach the truths that are considered to be the central, historic teachings of Christianity.  Click here to read CEF’s Statement of Faith.
